Switching to 40hz makes a big difference but very little difference in animations or gameplay. On 60hz power draw was 20-21 watts even in starting house. Setting TFP limit of 15 however I would get random drops to 5-10 FPS. 40FPS and TDP limit off gets 4 hours with most settings turned to high.

I did however just play starting area so late game will demand more.

Framrate seems to make very negligible difference with this game. 15fps was a .5 watt gain.

This game has its physics tied to the frame rate and limiting frames will slow the game down. At 60fps there are frequent small stutters and sometimes brief dips to 45FPS , CPU and GPU seem to hover around 30% each regardless of settings. These stutters happen even when hitting 60FPS. I'm using proton experimental. I would consider the stutters annoying but the game is playable enough. Frame dips will slow down the game a moment opposed to just skipping you into a projectile. Low settings help but this doesn't seem to stop the random jutters. Tried ingame v-sync, adaptive, frame limit in gamescope but does not seem to make a difference.

I turned off SSAO, Sun Shafts, Chromatic Abberation and DOF as this game is more GPU hungry than Elden Ring somehow. Due to the simple graphical style I think you could lower settings and resolution further if you want without losing much.
